Q: How do I fix my single-handle kitchen or lavatory faucet if it is leaking?

At the End of the Spout

  1. Ensure the water supply to the faucet is turned off.
  2. Replace cartridge(s) (see FAQ 32).

At the Handle

  1. Check the bonnet nut to ensure it is fully tightened. If problem still exists, move to Step 2.
  2. Ensure the water supply to the faucet is turned off.
  3. Replace cartridge(s) (see FAQ 32).

At the Swivel Spout Base

  1. Ensure the water supply to the faucet is turned off.
  2. Replace the spout O-rings.

At Hose Connections/Supply Lines

Snap-Connect Connection

  1. Ensure the connection(s) are secure. If problem still exists, move to Step 2.
  2. Ensure the water supply to the faucet is turned off.
  3. Replace the Snap-Connect block and/or O-rings as applicable (see FAQ 6).

Screw Connection

  1. Ensure the connection(s) are secure. If problem still exists, move to Step 2.
  2. Ensure the water supply to the faucet is turned off.
  3. Replace the hose and O-rings.
